Welcome to my piano studio. My name is Sharon and I have been teaching piano for 18 years. I am ninth in a teaching lineage beginning with Beethoven. 

 

I work with students of all ages from beginner to advanced. Some of my students prepare for piano examinations and others play for personal interest. 

 

My work is detail-oriented with a focus on correct hand positioning and sound production. I like to work with students to discover beauty in the music and to enhance their own personal musicality.

 

Many of my students have won awards at piano festivals and competitions and often place in the top 2-5% in Canada on their examinations.
